Katerina Nicolaou‑Manias (Kathy) - Founder & Director
Public‑sector economist with 25+ years’ experience in policy design and implementation across PFM, digital public infrastructure, IFFs and employment. Kathy has shaped policy and delivery systems at National Treasury, the Financial Intelligence Centre, the Gauteng Department of Economic Development, the South African Social Security Agency and the Development Bank of Southern Africa. She has advised Ministers and Directors‑General on financial regulation, capital flight, illicit financial flows and the illicit economy (including AML/CFT, trade‑based money laundering, cryptocurrencies and CBDC), and has partnered with leading public and private institutions across Africa and globally.
