Who we are
Argent Econ Consult (Pty) Ltd is a niche public-sector consultancy based in South Africa. We provide strategic policy advice and pioneering, client-centered policy solutions that are analytical and evidence-based, all while focusing on capacity building within the public sector. Our smart and intelligent solutions are cost-effective, unique, scalable, and sustainable for various country contexts.
What we do
We collaborate with governments and international organisations to: provide strategic policy advice, co-design capacity building programmes, projects, and policies that are pioneering, impactful, and growth-oriented. We also conduct research, including financial and cost-benefit analyses and risk assessments, to develop tailored policy solutions for international organisations as well as domestic and regional governments in Africa.

Using an associate model, we assemble the right skills for each engagement, focusing on capacity building and delivering effective policy solutions. Our work is founded on a rigorous understanding of each client’s institutional context and delivery environment, allowing us to provide strategic policy advice tailored to their needs.
